The main f stops are: 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22, 32, 64
The recommended f stops are f22 and up
Because it gives a wide depth of field
If the f stop was changed from 8 - 11 the light would be darker since the higher f stop, the less light that enters the camera by half.
